To help our participating artists be prepared for for the sale of their portrait, we recommend you have the following with you from your very first meeting with your model. (Remember, at no time should your volunteer be pressured to buy! )
* Your portrait portfolio, business cards, and a pre-printed price list to be used as a guideline.
* Blank invoices with your business name, address, and phone number.
* Donation instruction letter. This will be emailed to you with your final match announcement. It will include charitable status statement and where to send their check for 10% of original selling price payable to "Booth Library." (The library will issue their own receipt for tax purposes.)

Notes:
Additional fees and services not directly a part of the portrait - such as framing - may be billed separately on your own terms.
CSOPA strongly discourages artists from selling their photo studies and preliminary drawings as this is considered unprofessional. Such sales would also be subject to donation and tax structure above.
Future sales of this portrait or of portraits gained from this event through September of 2006 are subject to commission donation stucture above. Honor system rules.
Thank you for participating and good luck!
